ARTIST BIO

Chloe Roose

Starting my artistic journey in 2017, by deciding to study BA Fine Art, the desire to create art that I attained from a young age, soon became an obligation for me to explore and experiment with my creative consciousness. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself and how I perceive the world around us.

Currently, my artwork is centred around looking at the water, what it represents and how we can communicate this through artistic mediums. Water is a somewhat difficult subject to represent through art, which is why I decided to take the route of expressionism and abstraction with this current project to emphasise its romanticised properties and how we can connect with it. To do this, I am currently experimenting through a variety of painting and printing techniques, as well as textiles and photography.

I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in many collaborative and solo projects throughout my undergraduate degree, aiding to solidify my reputation in the art world. If you would like to find out more about my process, please get in touch.
